Then this job is the job for you! Narviplastx is the "Industrial Plastics" department of the Narviflex Group, and is looking for an additional warehouse worker for outgoing goods!

Narviplastx is the "Industrial Plastics" department of the Narviflex Group. At our Geel location, we store and process semi-finished plastic products (plates, rods, hollow rods, etc.), which we supply to companies as a whole or as processed pieces. We supply and manufacture almost everything in plastic for companies: safety fences, walkways, collision protection, plastic stairs, transparent draught curtains, machine parts, and even wall or ceiling panels for industrial renovations.
Your job:
In this role, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the dispatch of outgoing goods. About half of the time you will be busy with administration and communication, and the other half you will be busy packing and preparing for dispatch/collection.
1. Administration, communication and follow-up of files:
Answer customer questions about deliveries, terms and options
Internal communication with colleagues
Track milling and sawing orders so that finished goods are processed immediately
Adjust and maintain inventory lists
Create and follow up work orders
Answering customer emails/phone calls
Good communication with logistics service
2. Packing and preparing goods
Retrieve the correct goods from the warehouse or from the correct department when they are ready for shipment
Estimating which packaging/shipping method to use: sometimes 2 large boxes are cheaper and get to the customer faster than 1 pallet
Pack the goods correctly and protect them from damage during shipping
Check that everything is correct: correct color, quantity, size, ...
Packing goods in the most efficient way
Add/stick correct shipping labels or documents to the packaging
Prepare goods for collection or shipment in time at the right location
Fast and correct handling of urgent deliveries/collections
Keep the packing area and shipping area tidy
Who are we looking for?
You can read, write and type Dutch fluently; and you can also count and calculate well.
You are communicative and can handle the PC well. Knowledge of SAP and Excel or Caspio is a bonus.
You are pleasant and polite, both on the phone and by email.
You are dynamic, can pull your own plan and occasionally take some initiative. You like to take responsibility for your domain and make sure that it is completely in order.
You are handy and can occasionally repair a broken pallet or crate.
You are physically fit and can lift/carry boxes/parts up to 20kg.
You can work safely and accurately, and work at a good pace.
You are willing to work day shifts in a 38-hour week: from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday until 2:30 p.m.
A forklift certificate is a bonus, but not mandatory.
