Looking for a fun job as a technical representative? In this job you are on the road all day, and you advise customers in the choice of conveyor belts. You measure conveyor belts, prospect new customers, give technical advice and offer support where necessary.

For a company within our group, located in Genk, we are looking for a B2B representative with a solid technical background to further conquer the Antwerp market. Are you the person who will help us to grow strongly?
What does this job entail?
Searching for and visiting customers. These are mainly SMEs in Antwerp and the Kempen region that need conveyor belts in their operations. Although it also includes relationship management with existing customers, prospecting is a very large part of the job (at least half).
Conducting intake with customers about their needs, identifying which conveyor belt and parts the customer needs, measuring the correct dimensions, …
Passing the correct information to the back office. They work out the quotes for you, and you discuss them with the customer and follow up.
Ensuring that the customer is satisfied after delivery and maintaining a good relationship with the customer
Who are we looking for?
You are a real hunter and get energy from prospecting and bringing in new customers. You already have field sales experience, preferably with factories/companies as customers, and a technical product.
You have a technical background or interest and knowledge of production processes, packaging processes, recycling and waste processing... Experience with conveyor belts is useful but not mandatory. You will learn the technical details with us.
You are proactive and can work independently, because you get a lot of freedom. You organize your own day, your agenda and who you visit when.
You like to get your hands dirty and don't mind getting your hands (and shoes) dirty every now and then. After all, you often go outside to construction sites, recycling centers, concrete factories, ...
You are Dutch speaking and preferably live in the quadrangle between Lier - Aarschot - Lummen - Herentals.
