Are you a motivated sales professional with knowledge of production processes and machines? For our branch in Venlo (Netherlands) we are looking for an account manager / field representative to further expand the market in South-East Netherlands.

Description Job & offer

In this role you are responsible for actively recruiting new customers and clients. You actively work on realizing growth of our organization. You proactively enter the market in South-East Netherlands with the services of Narviflex. These are mainly end customers who use conveyor belts in their production processes.

You offer them our full product range, but focus mainly on plastic and rubber conveyor belts.

You establish contacts, build long-term relationships and capitalize on them. We work in a small team, and you will be given a lot of freedom and responsibility. The quotes are mainly drawn up by our internal service (based on your input/reports), so you can mainly focus on contacting prospects and building and maintaining customer relationships.

The task package consists of:

  • Independent acquisition of new customers through cold calling and spontaneous company visits

  • Building and maintaining your own network of relationships

  • Visiting potential and existing customers

  • Maintaining and intensifying existing customer relationships

  • Proactively advise, develop and follow up quotation processes

  • Realizing the agreed (sales) objectives with new customers

  • Answering and resolving customer questions and issues

  • Identifying and monitoring developments among customers and in the market

  • Thinking along in the field of sales and marketing

  • Drawing up your own annual plan and reporting on it


Job requirements

  • You already have experience in sales, preferably in the sale of industrial goods or components. Experience with conveyor belts is not necessary, but you must have an interest and affinity with it. Knowledge of the industry, production processes, packaging processes, etc. is a bonus.

  • You are persuasive and enjoy offering customers a suitable solution. You enjoy growth and results. You get energy from conquering the market and acquiring new customers.

  • You are proactive and can work independently, because you get a lot of freedom. You organize your own day, your agenda and who you visit when. In this you work as efficiently as possible, and you group your visits so that you are with customers as much as possible, instead of 4 hours in traffic.

  • A hunter's mentality and a strong will to score, and a neat and representative appearance with the right communication skills

  • You like to get your hands dirty, and don't mind getting your hands dirty every now and then. After all, your clients are mainly in the industry, and you often go outside to construction sites, and don't often sit in clean office environments.

  • You are flexible and helpful.

  • You are Dutch speaking and live in the region.
