As a Service Planner, you (together with your fellow planner) are the person who ensures that all installations are carried out on time and correctly.
What does the job entail?
Scheduling installations and urgent interventions (throughout Belgium): Anticipating the required materials, time, number of fitters, safety, environment, etc. and thus assigning the right fitters and materials to service orders
Provide instructions to fitters and keep them informed of the schedule
Daily reporting on completed installations, unexpected events or problems, occupancy rates and absences, ... and participation in weekly operational meetings
Approve and/or reject leave requests and bonuses for additional installations
Communication with mechanics and other departments (sales & customer service, production, warehouse, maintenance, etc.)
You will receive thorough training with site visits and insight into the materials used as well as the type of work our fitters do, so that you have the most accurate picture possible of the environment and the type of work you need to plan.
What profile are we looking for?
You already have some experience in a planning department and are a real planner: you put the right pieces in place and ensure that everything is arranged
You are Dutch speaking and can get by in French
You can handle last-minute changes and switch quickly. After all, we are like the fire brigade of the industry: There can always be last-minute assemblies.
You can communicate well, both orally and in writing
You have a good insight into what is going on, are solution-oriented and have a no-nonsense approach. In meetings you don't beat around the bush and can be concrete and direct.
You are also indirectly seen as a manager by the mechanics, so you preferably also have management skills.
You are assertive but correct, and you get things done.
You are administratively strong and can work well with a PC
You are willing to work in 2 “shifts” between 7am and 7pm (alternating from 7am to 3:30pm or from 10:30am to 7pm)
Why choose this job?
A fun and dynamic job with responsibility, where you are mentally triggered
A permanent contract, a company car and a market-conform monthly salary with all kinds of benefits: meal vouchers, hospitalisation insurance, pension fund, 13th month, bicycle lease, mobile phone, etc.
