Mini SuperDrive
The Mini Version of the Superdrive, teeth have a pitch of 25.4 mm and this positively driven belt can run over small pulleys from a diameter of 48 mm.
Volta's Mini SuperDrive™ (MSD) is an addition to Volta's range of positive drive belts, offering the benefits of the heavier SuperDrive™ series in a smaller tooth profile format.
The Mini SuperDrive™ belt solves the main mechanical problems of conventional flat belts, namely slippage and derailment. The teeth on the underside of the belt engage the drive pulley, ensuring consistent, smooth product transport without the need for belt tension .
The homogeneous structure operates smoothly and quietly with minimal load, extending belt life and preventing wear on bearings and other conveyor components.
The teeth are guided and enclosed by wear strips on the belt conveyor and the grooved pulleys, which together form a simple tracking system that does not require any additional elements that would otherwise increase the construction and cost of the conveyor.
OEMs worldwide use this feature to reduce conveyor belt costs and deliver competitive and durable conveyor belts for food processing. These same features also result in savings on operating costs.
Mini SuperDrive™ is made from high-quality food-grade TPE/TPU materials in a variety of finishes, allowing it to be used in thousands of applications with a pulley diameter of at least 48 mm.
This flexibility also makes it ideal for center drives and tight conveyors.
